About the Artist

Gary Langrish was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. Primarily self-taught, Gary has developed his talent and style through workshops from professional artists and his own personal passion. 

Langrish is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and the Kelowna Palette Club.

Gary paints in oils and acrylics and covers a wide variety of subject content. Recently his energy lies in painting Okanagan vineyards and the people that labour amongst the vines. His impressionistic and expressive style is enlivened with the use of rich, vibrant colour, resulting in dynamic canvases.

His paintings have been accepted into numerous FCA Juried Shows throughout the Okanagan and Vancouver.  His artwork hangs in private collections in North America and New Zealand.  

Gary currently resides and paints in Kelowna, British Columbia.
